Paneer Tikka

Punjabiyan Di Shaan by Srishti

Serving: 6-7 people

Step 1

Cut paneer(about 200g) in cubes
Sprinkle some salt and red chilli
Keep it aside for 15 min  (it will leave extra water)

INGREDIENTS for Marination (Step 2)

ITEM    QUANTITY
hungcurd/thick curd   1 cup 
blackpepper   1/2 tsp 
lemon juice   1/2 tsp 
jeera   1/2 tsp
chatmasala   1/2 tsp
garam masala   1/2 tsp
kala namak   1/2 tsp
kasuri methi   1/2 tsp
salt   1.5 tsp
red chilli powder   1 tsp
ginger garlic paste   1 tsp
haldi powder   1/2 tsp
sattu (important as it helps to hold the curd well with panner)   1 tbsp
mustard oil   1 tbsp(heat)

Mix all the above ingredients in a bowl

Marination is ready

Step 3

We need cubed capsicum(1big)
And cubed onion(3)

Gently coat them (cubed paneer, capsicum and onion) with the marination
And rest the mixture in fridge for just 15 min

Step 4

Now begin to thread the chunks on the skewer and roast it on gas till it turns golden brown

Voila! Your yummy Panner tikka is ready.

Plate it & sprinkle some Chaat masaala and lemon juice for that tangy flavor.
