Gluten Free Coffee Walnut Cake

INGREDIENTS

Walnuts   1/2 cup(chopped)
Gluten Free Flour  

1/2 cup

Gluten Free Cocoa Powder   1/2 cup
Salt   1/4 tsp
Vegetable Oil   1/2 cup
Ground Caster Sugar   1/2 cup
Eggs   3
Vanilla Essence   1 tsp
Gluten Free Baking Powder   1 tsp
Baking Soda   1/4 tsp
Milk   2/3 cup
Coffee   2 tsp mixed in 1/3 cup of hot water

METHOD

Pre heat oven to 350 degree F(180 degree C)

Prepare the cake tin by greasing with butter/oil & apply butter paper in the centre.

In a bowl, sieve all the dry ingredients(flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda & powder, salt) in a large mixing bowl.

Beat the eggs in it using a whisk.

Add vanilla essence and mix well.

Put milk & little oil in it along with chopped walnuts.

Stir the coffee in boiling water & add it to the prepared batter and give it a final mix.

Spoon batter evenly into the cake pan.

Garnish it some more walnuts & bake for 25-30 min.

To check you can pierce a toothpick in the centre & if comes out clean, means your cake is ready.

Once ready, let it cool and plate it
